Than variation of "AVR ATmega328 + PCF8574 + LCD1206" + RTC DS1307 (usually come with 24C32 memory). There are counting time and calendar (need to increment it), +day of the week, can charge battery. Than variation of "AVR ATmega328 + PCF8574 + LCD1206" + RTC DS1307 (usually come with 24C32 memory).  Finally, ended up experimenting with "AVR ATmega328 + PCF8574 + LCD1206 + RTC DS1307(+24C32) + GPS uBlox NEO-M". Programmed to listen on UART and print everything (NMEA), that comes from GPS receiver into 16x2 screen. Yes, it is small, but works! :)) Need to grep and trim little bit into "Clock \n Long/Lang". When GPS locked, update RTC. Always show clock. Finally, ended up experimenting with "AVR ATmega328 + PCF8574 + LCD1206 + RTC DS1307(+24C32) + GPS uBlox NEO-M".
